Pregnancy and birth is the most nutritionally expensive time in a woman's life. Even though becoming a mom is a new and exciting time (whether a first timer or growing your family) , it can take a toll on your body in many ways, resulting in the depletion of resources and several physical, mental, and emotional symptoms. It can be difficult for a mother to pay attention to her own eating habits when focused on her baby’s needs.

  • Week 1: Pregnancy - 12 weeks

  • Week 2: 3 months - 6 months

  • Week 3: 6 months - 12 months

No matter what type of birth you had, your body has been through trauma and nutrition will play a key role in your recovery, both emotionally and physically. As you nourish your body with energy dense foods and restful practices, you will begin to feel like yourself again.

We have have created a simple 4-week program that will guide you toward optimal postnatal recovery. Specific nutrients are needed in greater quantities postnatal and deficiencies can contribute to hormonal imbalances effecting your mood and energy. Through this program, we will ensure you stay on track to be mentally and physically sound!

Week 1: Pregnancy - 12 weeks

We will discuss the nutrients it takes to build a baby, the impact and nutrient cost during labor, delivery, and tissue healing, insatiable appetite during the 4th trimester and nourishing a new mom with whole foods.

Week 2: 3 months - 6 months

We will dive into supplement basics and blood work, sugar addiction, exercise/movement, tuning into your body, and nutrition to support muscles, joints, and ligament health, going back to work, and batch cooking.

Week 3: 6 months - 12 months

This week we will cover introducing foods to baby while still feeding mama, baby on the move, mama on the move: nourishing yourself during constant change and hormone balancing.

Week 4: 12 months - 18 months

In the final week we will talk about pregnancy prep for another baby, how to continue and maintain and replenishing diet and lifestyle, and building your family's food culture and traditions.
